Most famous city in England? London, right? Then Manchester and in third place you end up with Liverpool. And that third place suits Liverpool well. Liverpool is a bit different from the other big cities in England. The Beatles, Anfield and the unintelligible, but oh so nice sounding Scouse accent. Liverpudlians are proud, full of humor and have an “us against the rest” mentality – and they like to let you know. The city therefore feels more like a rebellious underdog than an average British metropolis. And honestly? That makes Liverpool perhaps the coolest city in England.
However, even as a delivery person you should not just open a door in this city with its rough edges. If you do, there is a chance that you will have to brake. Not only for the “Scousers” themselves, but actually even more so for the dog. At least, that was the case at this address.
Very nice of the delivery person: the 100 meters without a warm-up just over 10 seconds. And, no hard feelings afterwards. People understood each other at that moment in Liverpool. That delivery guy won't do that anymore, certainly not at this address.
